The plant inside the pot is faux due to the inability to regulate temps in a car - you definitely don't want your plant baby to die! The hanger is secured with a binder hoop that retracts for easy install onto the mirror.
 
You DON'T have to use this in the car! It's a perfect little piece that can also be hung up anywhere inside the house or outside. Maybe you have a doll house that needs a plant :)
